End User Licence Agreement
Draft · last updated 10 September 2026
1. Acceptance
This Agreement is between you and [Licensor legal name] ("we", "us"). By installing, activating, or using Transit Architect (the "Software") you agree to it. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software for your own non-commercial use. Each licence key permits one active machine at a time; you may move the activation to another machine by deactivating the first (through your Lemon Squeezy order portal or by contacting support).
3. Restrictions
- Do not sell, rent, sublicense, share, or publish your licence key, or distribute the installer.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Software, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
- Do not circumvent, disable, or interfere with the activation, update, or licensing mechanisms.
4. Alpha software
The Software is pre-release. It may contain defects, change substantially between versions, lose or migrate saved data, or be withdrawn. Keep your own backups of any saved networks you care about. Use is at your own risk.
5. Updates
The Software checks for and may automatically download and install updates. Updates are provided under this same Agreement.
6. Ownership
We and our licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the Software. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and is used under the Open Database Licence; map rendering is provided by OpenFreeMap / OpenMapTiles. Third-party components and their licences are listed in the notices that ship with the Software.
7. Termination
This licence ends automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the Software and delete all copies. Sections 6 and 8–10 survive termination.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Software or this Agreement will not exceed the amount you paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits.
10. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
