Refund Policy
Draft · last updated 10 September 2026
The short version
If your licence key has not been activated on a machine, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Once a key has been activated you have received and can run the software, so activated keys are generally not refundable — but contact us anyway if a build is broken for you and we will try to make it right.
How to request one
Email support@transitarchitect.example from the address you bought with, and include your order number. Refunds are issued by Lemon Squeezy (the merchant of record) to your original payment method and typically take a few business days to appear.
Pay-what-you-want
A refund returns the amount you actually paid, including anything above the $15 minimum.
Alpha software
Transit Architect is a pre-release build with known rough edges and bugs; that on its own is not grounds for a refund of an activated key. The release notes describe the current state of each build before you buy.
Your statutory rights
This policy does not limit any non-waivable refund or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer law where you live. Where a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase applies, note that by downloading immediately after purchase you may be asked to acknowledge that the right ends once the download begins.
Chargebacks
Please contact us for a refund rather than filing a chargeback. A chargeback may result in your key being deactivated.
