Refund Policy

Working draft for Early Access, written for a solo/indie seller — not reviewed by a lawyer. Checked against Polar's own buyer terms (polar.sh/legal/checkout-buyer-terms): Polar sets no fixed refund window of its own and explicitly defers to "the applicable refund policy," so the 14-day/unused-key rule below is that policy, not a conflict with Polar's.

The short version

If your license key has not yet been used — not entered into the game — you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Once a key has been used, you have received and been able to run the software, so it's generally not refundable — but contact us anyway if a build is broken for you and we will try to make it right.

How to request one

Email andersonstudios.dev@gmail.com from the address you bought with, and include your order number. Refunds are issued by Polar (the merchant of record) to your original payment method and typically take a few business days to appear.

Pay-what-you-want

A refund returns the amount you actually paid, including anything above the $16.32 minimum.

Early Access software

Transit Architect is a pre-release build with known rough edges and bugs; that on its own is not grounds for a refund of an activated key. The release notes describe the current state of each build before you buy.

Your statutory rights

This policy does not limit any non-waivable refund or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer law where you live. Where a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase applies, note that by accessing the software immediately after purchase, you may be asked to acknowledge that the right ends once access begins.

Chargebacks

Please contact us for a refund rather than filing a chargeback. A chargeback may result in your key being deactivated.
